“What exactly will you do for us?” is one of the first questions couples ask. The short answer: a luxury wedding planner takes on the hundreds of decisions, contracts and logistics behind your day, so you can enjoy the engagement and arrive at your wedding as a guest of honor. Here is what that looks like in practice at Épris Events.

What a Full-Service Planner Handles

  • Budget and priorities: allocating your investment where it matters most to you.
  • Venue and vendor selection: shortlisting, negotiating and managing every contract.
  • Design: concept, palette, florals, tablescapes, lighting, stationery and custom pieces.
  • Guest experience: hotel blocks, transportation, welcome details and timelines.
  • Production: floor plans, vendor schedules, rehearsal and the full wedding-day run of show.
  • The day itself: managing every vendor and moment, so you never have to.

A 12-Month Luxury Wedding Planning Timeline

12–10 months out

Set the budget and guest count, book your planner, secure the venue and date, and book the vendors that sell out first: photographer, videographer and entertainment.

9–7 months out

Develop the design concept, book florals, catering and rentals, choose attire, and send save-the-dates. Destination weddings should share travel details now.

6–4 months out

Finalize the design, order custom pieces and stationery, plan the ceremony, book hair and makeup, and arrange guest transportation and hotel blocks.

3–1 months out

Send invitations, build the floor plan and seating chart, confirm every vendor, create the run of show and hold design mock-ups.

Wedding week and day

We run the rehearsal, deliver final details to every vendor, and manage setup, timing and breakdown. You get dressed, see your guests and enjoy it.

Full-Service Planning vs. Day-of Coordination

Full-service planning starts early and covers design, vendors and logistics. Day-of coordination is for couples who have planned most of the wedding themselves and want a professional to take over in the final weeks. Read more in why full-service planning is essential for luxury weddings.

Épris Events plans luxury weddings in Houston, Austin, Dallas and San Antonio, as well as destination weddings. Every detail considered. Nothing left to chance.
