For Vendors
Luxury event design isn’t only for weddings. For this spring tea party fundraiser at the Junior League of Houston, Épris Events created a room that felt like stepping into a blue-and-white porcelain garden: chinoiserie linens, cascading hydrangeas, blush roses and towering delphinium.
The Design Concept
We started with a single reference, classic blue-and-white porcelain, and built everything around it. Patterned linens, layered china and florals by @mela.certe in white, blue and soft pink kept the palette cohesive, while varied heights, from low garden arrangements to tall statement pieces, gave the room movement.
Guest Experience Details
A dessert display, a champagne moment and printed stationery by @esperanza.atelier created photo-worthy stops throughout the afternoon. Rentals came from @caesar_events_houston and AV from @elevatedavproduction, so speeches and the program ran smoothly.
What Nonprofits Can Borrow from Wedding Design
- One clear concept. A strong visual idea makes a fundraiser memorable and shareable.
- Design for photos. Guests who post photos extend your cause’s reach.
- Plan the program like a ceremony. Every speech, cue and transition should be timed.
- Make donors feel like guests of honor. Thoughtful details signal that their support matters.
Épris Events plans corporate events, galas and private celebrations in Houston, Austin, Dallas and San Antonio. Learn more about our event planning services or see the full gallery.
