Some weddings are elegant. Some are joyful. Mmesoma and Sean’s wedding at Chateau Nouvelle in Houston was both, from the first glimpse of the chateau to the last song on the dance floor. As their luxury wedding planner in Houston, Épris Events had the honor of planning and designing a celebration that felt grand, personal and full of culture.
A Fairytale Setting Just Outside Houston
Chateau Nouvelle gives couples a French-inspired estate without leaving Texas: a white chateau façade, a fountain courtyard and manicured grounds made for portraits. For Mmesoma and Sean, the venue set the tone for a day that needed to feel timeless and unmistakably luxurious.
A Ceremony Framed in Florals
We worked with @mela.certe to line the aisle and frame the ceremony with abundant arrangements, so every guest’s first impression was one of romance and scale. The ceremony itself was intimate and emotional, and the moment the couple walked back up the aisle, the color and energy of the celebration took over.
Reception Design: Towering Florals and Bespoke Lamps
Inside, the ballroom was transformed with tall floral centerpieces, candlelight, monogrammed menus and draping by @drapemasters. One of our favorite details was a set of bespoke table lamps designed by Épris Events, which gave every table its own warm, intimate glow and made a large room feel personal.
Furniture and custom builds came from @caesar_events_houston, tabletop rentals from @swiftevents, and lighting and sound from @elevatedavproduction.
A Celebration of Two Families
The evening moved from a live string quartet by @divisistrings to a special performance by @heisreema, with @theengineermc as MC and @djprince_weddings keeping the dance floor full. Guests enjoyed catering by @9jafoodpot and a cake by @heights.bakery.
